Programme Support
We are looking for volunteers 18+ from the community to support the implementation of the aims of the Scout Movement in Trinidad and Tobago, particularly in the provision of a wide range of attractive, constructive, and challenging activities; including opportunities for adventure and exploration.
These individuals will form part of the Programme Support team and will be managed by the Deputy National Scout Commissioner Programme and led by a Programme Support Manager/Coordinator.
Main Duties:
- To coordinate the delivery of activities at the national level and support different elements of the programme.
- Responsible for supporting high quality events locally, and for Scouts visiting events overseas.
- To support the delivery of fantastic and high-quality opportunities for young people to participate in.
- To work with and lead a team of individuals in support of the implementation of the objectives of the National Programme Team.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Project Managers – to manage roles and responsibilities associated with the execution of various program ideas and activities, involvement in planning and organizing the resources to successfully complete projects and activities.
Event Managers – responsible for managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
Event Assistant – general assistance on day of event/days immediately preceding with setup/take down or other errands.
Logistics Managers – coordinate transport (people and assets), set up of major equipment, preparation of venue for event
Food & Beverage Manager/Assistants – coordinate preparation and serving of food & beverage for event or oversee catering arrangements where appropriate
Creative Assistant – assists in the development of graphics, visuals, videos and copy for the promotion of programme elements or events
Buzz Creator – assist in the marketing of activities and events through social media and other channels
